for everyone
To quote Rorschach: "I wish the scum of the earth had one throat and i had my hands around it."

1. Corruption reaches new heights (or is it lows?) in our beloved country when customs officials decide that books can be another money-making venture. Do they really need more money? IS NOTHING SACRED ANYMORE?

Link here.

2. Serial cat-killer is a UP student. As a UP Diliman graduate and animal-lover, I am crossing my fingers that this guy is made to PAY.

You can get the whole story (and hopefully sign the petition) here.

It's a sad, sad world.

my cousin works for one of the major bookstores, under the inventory section. he mentioned that they didn't get any shipment for the past two months (correct that). hence he expected their stock to dwindle til june, when the book shopping frenzy is at its peak (aside from december and february). it's crazy!

I guess it was inevitable, with the way books have gained in popularity. These gentlemen would probably tax their own mothers if it could earn a profit.

Which, the book tax thing or the cat murders?

Btw, I also knew someone who killed cats. In that particular case, I wouldn't have been suprised if I heard he'd graduated to people too.
